My office is conveniently located in beautiful downtown Falmouth on Cape Cod. I apply the ancient principles of acupuncture to help alleviate symptoms and improve quality of life. The treatments are focused on the health of the whole person, looking at physical, emotional and spiritual well-being, resulting in improved function less pain and greater vitality.

About
Angela Tymrak is a Licensed Acupuncturist and RN. She has over 17 years clinical experience practicing acupuncture and 10 years caring for patients as an RN.
​
Angela combines acupuncture and evidence-based treatments to support the body's ability to heal. She treats adults of all ages with acute and chronic medical conditions to form an individual treatment plan that enhances both physical and emotional health.

She is Nationally Board Certified and completed her graduate degree from the Academy for Five Element Acupuncture. Following her formal education her treatment style was shaped by her studies with Dr. Richard Tan and the Balance Method for treating chronic pain and illness, a two-year Clinical Integration Course with Lonny Jarrett and classes with Dr. Jeffrey Yuen.

Angela uses other valuable tools for treatment including Gua Sha, a traditional technique that uses a smooth edged tool to gently press-stroke the skin improving micro-circulation to the surface tissue and helping to relieve symptoms of pain and reduce inflammation.

How long do appointments last?Appointments last approximately 50 minutes. Plan to come in a few minutes early to fill out a consent and a contact information form. We will review your goals for treatment, health history, and any medications or supplements you are taking. You will receive an acupuncture treatment.

What should I wear to my appointment?Loose and comfortable clothing is preferable, or you may wish to bring in a pair of shorts.

What forms of payment are accepted?We accept check, credit cards, HSA and Cape Wellness Collaborative (CWC) cards.

Do you accept insurance?I am currently credentialed with the Veterans Affairs (VA) Community Care Network. For other insurances, please contact your company to see if they cover acupuncture. I would be happy to provide insurance receipts for you to submit for reimbursement.
